Scotland will face defending champions Ireland at the BT Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on Saturday 9th February, during the second round of the 2019 Six Nations Championship.
The winner of this match will be presented with the Centenary Quaich, which was first awarded in 1989 and was most recently won by Ireland following their 28-8 victory in the 2018 Championship.
Scotland and Ireland have contested a total of 133 rugby test matches since their first meeting in 1877. Scotland have won 66 of those matches, whilst Ireland have won 62 matches. There have also been five drawn matches between the two nations.
