The last time France played Italy at the Stade de France, was in 2016 and they managed to squeeze a narrow 23-21 victory in their home ground. The following year, in Italy’s Stadio Olimpico, France’s win was a healthier 40 -18.
On February 23, France and Italy face off again, back in the Stade de France in Saint-Denis. This is Italy’s big chance to redeem its national pride not only for their miserable performances against France over the last few years, but for their zero win results for the every Six Nations game last year.
