British heavyweight, Tony Bellew has sworn to end rival David Haye’s career when they meet for the second time at London’s O2 on 17th of December. Never known to be one to mince his words, Bellew’s confidence in his ability to wipe the floor with Haye is clear to see:
“I will have the exact same attitude I had going into the first fight – win at all costs. I will be victorious on December 17 and I will end David Haye’s career. Another loss to me closes the curtain on the Hayemaker.”
In part Bellew’s confidence comes from his assessment of David Haye’s strengths and weaknesses. “David is a front-runner. He’s dangerous early but he tires quickly and he doesn’t get stronger down the stretch.
Time will tell if Bellew’s confidence is well places. Meanwhile British boxing fans are keen to get their hands on tickets for the biggest grudge match of the year.
