Product Description

Disco legends Chic and Nile Rodgers will play a huge open air gig at Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl this summer.

Rodgers shot to fame with Chic in the late 1970s, and together with songwriting partner and bassist, the late Bernard Evans, wrote some of the era’s most defining songs including Le Freak, I Want Your Love and Good Times.

The guitarist went on to produce albums and music for artists including David Bowie, Madonna, Duran Duran, Diana Ross and, more recently, working with Daft Punk and Pharrell Williams on global hit Get Lucky.

He and Chic will be joined by Crazy P and Greg Wilson for the show, which is being staged by The Warehouse Project and concert promoters SJM as part of the Sounds of the City festival.
